Emirates Insight publishes guest analysis from operators and experts who can offer first-hand insight on the UAE and Gulf business beat. This page tells you what we are looking for, how to pitch, and what to expect.
Who can contribute
- Founders and senior operators with a story or framework worth sharing.
- Subject matter analysts in fintech, AI, energy, real estate, logistics, and policy.
- Lawyers, accountants, and consultants writing on Gulf-specific developments (not generic explainer content).
What we publish
- Original analysis, 700 to 1,500 words, written by you in plain English.
- Opinion pieces with a clear thesis and at least one supporting data point.
- Case studies of real deployments inside the UAE or wider GCC, with permission from the company involved.
What we do not publish
- Generic SEO content (top 10 lists, evergreen explainers, listicles).
- Disguised promotion of your product or service. If your piece is fundamentally about your company, see the advertise page.
- Content generated wholesale by AI. We accept AI-assisted drafting; we do not accept unattributed AI output.
- Pieces that have been published elsewhere first.
How to pitch
- Email submissions@emiratesinsight.com with a one-paragraph pitch and your byline bio.
- If we are interested we will reply within five working days with a brief and a publish window.
- Submit your draft as plain text or a Google Doc. Include any data sources, charts, and a link-list for citations.
- Edits are collaborative; we may suggest cuts, restructures, and clarifying questions. You see the final version before it goes live.
Payment and rights
We do not pay for guest articles at this stage. In return you receive a bylined article on the site, a back-link from your bio, and the right to republish on your own blog or LinkedIn after 30 days with credit to Emirates Insight. We retain non-exclusive rights to the piece.
Editorial standards
All guest articles are fact-checked. Statistics must be sourced and linked. Quotes from named individuals must be approved by the speaker. Anonymous sources are accepted only when justified and only after a brief call with the editor.
